Weaving Threads Workshops

Please note - Weaving Threads is now fully booked. Please contact us on the enquiry form below if you’re interested in future workshops.

Weaving Threads Workshops are a collaborative series

co-hosted by Kate Tenni & Addy Cobcroft

These gentle sessions will combine a love of fabric, threads, weaving & stitching with explorations of the symbolic experience of the same.

There is no pressure to have any prior experience or skill.

All makers are welcome.

What does it mean to thread a needle and sew two pieces of cloth together?

Is it purely for purpose and function, or is there something deeper happening?

Why do we add ornamental touches?

What happens when we, or someone else, wears a garment we created?

Why handstitch, when a machine might be more efficient?

Where do our threads and cloths come from?

Why replace if we can mend?
